School Planetariums

A little bag just after two minutes automatically become a spherical projection dome with a special inner surface for video projection. In ordinary hall or any other large room you can create not just a original cinema but real digital planetarium (school planetarium). Whole class of happy students (up to 25 person) with pleasure might be located inside inflatable tent where all surface (all 360 degrees) helps you to organize star-sky demonstration, science or other movie.

Inflatable projection dome mobile dome doesn’t have a stand so its enough simple lift its edge to leave the planetarium. A 5m diameter dome with 3m height weights from 11 to 20 kgs that’s why we call it “portable planetarium”.

3. Turn on the blower

   

4.  Wait for 3-4 minutes until the dome will be ready

   

5. Portable planetarium is ready for work
6. Open the zipper and enter the dome
7. After all visitor will be inside just close a zipper and dome is ready for use.

Basic models of school planetariums

1. New model of single-layered dome with unique characteristics

   

This single-layered dome creates inside it full isolation from light and has the same characteristics as double-layered dome, providing whole isolation even from bright ambient light!
Inside surface color: light grey.
Special developed two-tone (black/grey) tissue became a perfect projection spherical surface.

2. Basic model of double-layered dome with colorful outer shell

   

Now you can order from us a dome with any design you need.
Basic construction of inflatable projection dome of digital planetarium is a special double-layered shell from two kinds of nylon tissue sewed together. Outer shell has special airtight coating and inner shell has aluminized light-grey or white coating. As a result we have light but strong fabric which doesn’t miss light and can be easily packed inside small bag. Shell of this planetarium doesn’t miss even sunlight.

3. We introduce a new universal model of school planetarium (street/hall) NEW2Y

   

This dome is a improved model of double-layered dome NEW2. The special characteristic of this model are special attachments around the perimeter of the dome base which are allowing you to fix the planetarium on the floor. Moreover this dome has a “pockets” on outer shell and has frame from light metal tube. Thanks to this simple solution this dome can be used as well in hall or in street. Even the windy weather you will not have any problem with entering or leaving the dome and it will not fall down due to electricity shutdown. You don’t need to insall the metallic frame when you want to use the dome inside building.

4. One more innovation – model of school planetarium NEW2T (dome/transformer)

   

This double-layered dome also based on NEW2 model but has a possibility to change its height from 3.2 to 2.7m, that why you can install the dome in different kind of rooms without disturbing the dome geometry.

Standard equipment of  inflatable projection dome “mini planetarium” (school planetarium)
Except the dome equipment includes regulated blower with different speed of blowing air, repair kit, packaging bag and data sheet.
Technical features of blowers supplied with the dome: we improved a standard fan model made it adapting for the most convenient service with an inflatable air-dome planetarium. Supplied fan has automatic check valve which shut-off completely out of air when disconnecting the fan.
Outer shell has a plug with protective netting for safe operation of the supercharger, we install a holder for convenient transplantation and a lock for the simple connection to the dome.

Projection dome “Planetarium” can be also supplied with projection equipment for panoramic video image on 360 degrees. You need to install a video projector and you will receive a multimedia or video image across the circular surface of the dome (a sort of mini-movie theater).
